Apricot Hugs / A Gentle Pancreas Friendly Snack

🍽️ 8 Apricot Hugs⏱️ 30 minutes

🥣Bowl🥄Spoon🔧Knife🔥Airfryer🔧greaseproof paper

🛒 Ingredients

  • 100gms Dried Apricots
  • Almond milk / enough just to cover the chopped Apricots
  • 40gms oats
  • half a teaspoon cinnamon
  • half a teaspoon honey

👩‍🍳 Method

  1. 1Chop the apricots and just cover to the top with the milk
  2. 2Leave for 30 minutes to soak up the milk and soften
  3. 3Add the oats, cinnamon and honey
  4. 4Mix together well leaving a nice textured mixture
  5. 5Using a spoon, create almost biscuit shapes by giving them a hand hug
  6. 6Cook on 180 for 8 minutes.
  7. 7After 8 minutes, stop the airfryer and turn the Apricot hugs while trying not to drool over the beautiful aroma
  8. 8After another 2 minutes cooking, remove, place on a plate and allow to cool for 10 minutes whilst trying not to eat them!
  9. 9Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
